Launch Pad: Marketing in a Post Google Search World | October 2024

I was listening to a Gary Vaynerchuk (marketing guru) video the other day and he had an interesting point. At the current rate of AI adoption, his theory is that Google searches may be irrelevant by the year 2030.

That’s just five years away.

In the video (https://youtu.be/WyW_8kMQmJM) he goes through preparing your marketing for the coming reality of end users using AI tools to search instead of a traditional search engine. If that becomes reality, how will your potential prospects find your bank? Find your Treasury Management services? Know how good you are?

Maybe it’s time to take Gary’s advice seriously:

  • Look into what it would take to start building your social media efforts.
  • Develop in-house skills in video production and photography.
  • Train your team to write effective marketing content.
  • Build your bank’s following on social media.
